Description:
We are engaged in online sales of electronics and cellphone related products. This position is for a part-time warehouse associate/shipping clerk that can pick, prep, package, and ship products, as well as process customer returns.
Part time position: workload will vary, based off of fluctuations in sales, between 15-20 hours / week. Increased workload may be available during seasonal periods.
This position is ideal for university students and second job situations. We can work around a school schedule and/or work schedules.
Extremely flexible hours, assigned weekly. We need somebody who is available during the week - one [optional] weekend shift is available too. Applicants will not be considered who cannot work during the week. Must be available during the day at least twice during the week (after this, night shifts are okay too). We can usually adapt to upcoming changes in schedules, if sufficient advance notice is given.
Work as a part of a small team of 3 other employees
Duties / Responsibilities:
Prepping, labeling, packaging, and shipping products for online sales of electronic and cellular products
Testing, sorting, and processing of customer returns
Accurate data entry of sales and returns
Meeting product packaging guidelines
Perform periodic inventory counts
Qualifications:
Bachelors/Associates degree -in progress okay. Applicants lacking this will not be considered
Basic computer applications familiarity: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, internet browsers
Comfortable working in a small group
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 75% of packages will be 30lbs or less
Have good attention to detail
Willingness to learn and perform tasks
Reliability in working independently and managing time
Good verbal communication skills in English
Comfortable working in a climate uncontrolled, warehouse environment
Compensation:
$20.00 / hour, bi-yearly raises based on performance. Appropriate W2 taxes will be withheld - not a contractor/1099 position

Due to the natural of warehouse work, this is not a remote position, and requires in-person presence. We employ social distancing protocols, including mask wearing, regular sanitation, and air filtration/ventilation. We do not interact with customers in person.
