Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable individual for the role of Part-Time Harbor Master. This position involves overseeing onsite operations at the marina, ensuring the well-being of the property, and providing customer service to tenants and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular walks of docks and property to identify issues and address tenant needs.
- Work 3 to 4 hours per day, 3-5 days per week, offering flexibility for a part-time schedule.
- Ideal for retired or olderindividuals seeking supplementary income.
- Manage your own office space for administrative tasks.
- Collect launch ramp fees and supervise launch ramp activities.
- Oversee vendors responsible for property cleaning and maintenance.
- Actively market and enroll new tenants for dock slips, dry storage, and RV hook-ups.
- No rent collection responsibilities; rental transactions handled by the Director's system.
- Maintain vigilance to ensure overall facility orderliness and tenant/guest compliance.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Prior experience in a similar role or familiarity with harbor/marina operations.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
