About Us:Please note - we are specifically looking for candidates with availability for the Mid-Shift: Mon through Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (Note the training schedule is likely 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday for approximately 4-6 weeks before transitioning to the assigned permanent schedules.)Other days and times are helpful as well, but candidates must be able to work during the schedule listed above and work 40 hours per week. Lafayette Physical Therapy, Inc. been an established private practice in the community for over 48 years. We provide rehabilitation and wellness including orthopedics, sports and geriatric rehabilitation to a diverse clientele. We have two locations, one in Lafayette and one in Pleasant Hill called Bay Area Physical Therapy. We are specifically looking to hire at our Lafayette location. We treat a variety of ailments including orthopedics conditions, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and geriatric conditions. We also provide diagnostic testing such as Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSKUS), Nerve Conduction Studies, and Electromyography (EMG) . The Patient Care Coordinator works at the front desk assisting patients in person and over the phone to schedule appointments, collect payments, set up patient charts (through the Medical Record Software). We have a fast-paced environment and are motivated by helping people in our community regain movement and function. If you love being of service to the community, are detail oriented, and are looking to be a part of a caring and dedicated team we would love to meet you!Responsibilities:Greeting patients, checking patients in, collecting copayments/service charges owed, and directing them to where to go in the clinic.Patient chart/paperwork preparation, scanning, and filing.Verifying patient Insurances and informing them of their coverage.Answering Phones, assisting patients over the phone, and directing calls.New patient intakes for Physical Therapy, Massage, and Wellness Services and scheduling appointments.Work as a team with other staff members in order to provide excellent customer service and teamwork.Requirements:We are looking for Candidates who embody the following:Embody the Company Core Values: Integrity, Communication, Willingness, Customer Focus, Teamwork, and Goal Oriented.Positive Attitude, friendly, and professionalDesire and ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced busy environmentAbility to prioritize tasks, follow directions accurately and meet deadlinesStrong Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel, email, Windows 10 (or similar), data entry abilities with typing Speed of 45wpm or higher by touch.Schedule:We are looking for a team member who can work Full Time 40 hours per week.Flexibility for scheduling is very helpful.
