Position: Facilities Coordinator
Reports to: Facilities Manager Location: San Bruno, CA
Hourly Rate: $34.00/Hour

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
1. Assist the staff and centers in maintaining a safe and healthy environment by: helping to receive, track, prioritize work order requests.
2. Assist sites by completing work orders such as electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, hvac maintenance. Help to make minor repairs on site such as installing baby gates, removing / installing soap dispensers, canopies, changing sink batteries, changing light bulbs.
3. Assist in sending work orders to the appropriate vendors and create purchase requests for facility needs.
4. Assist in updating key logs and sending them to the sites. Conducting site visits to assess the facilities and check in with site teams to learn about their safety and facility concerns and ways to improve the learning and working environment for children, staff and families.
5. Help track preventative maintenance activities such as annual, quarterly and monthly inspections of Fire Sprinklers, backflow prevention devices, etc. Help forecast when roofing and other maintenance repairs should occur.
6. Assist with monitoring activities to assess the condition of the centers, classrooms & play areas
7. Assist with scanning and electronically filing maintenance records into ChildPlus or in the Google drive in order to fully transition all files into a cloud database. Assist with conducting physical count of inventory, tagging assets on site, or completing asset transfer form to track movement of assets. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, LICENSES AND/OR SKILLS:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent; AA preferred.
2. At least 2 years progressively responsible experience in the health & safety field and/or early childhood education.
3. Experience in preventative maintenance.
4. Experience in minor construction, electrical, plumbing or hvac repairs. Ability to use various hand and or power tools preferred
5. Training or demonstrated knowledge with Databases, MS Office, Google Suite preferred.
6. Knowledge of Community Child Care Licensing Regulations preferred.
7. Familiar with ECERS/ITERS preferred and experience in staff training preferred.
8. Job requires attendance consistency and frequent travel throughout our centers in San Mateo County
9. Valid California driver’s license and willing to drive your own vehicle to various Izzi (IHSD, Inc.) sites throughout San Mateo County in order to assist in monitoring and training. Mileage will be reimbursed.
10. Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
