We provide cremation, burial, and memorial products with care and respect. We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic office assistant to support our administrative operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Job Summary:

The Office Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining accurate records, managing incoming calls, assisting walk-ins, and supporting the office team with clerical and customer service tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and capable of handling sensitive situations with discretion and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist families and visitors in a courteous and empathetic manner.

- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information about our services.

- Maintain and update records, including contracts, permits, and service documentation.

- Process payments and handle basic financial transactions.

- Schedule and coordinate services, meetings, and appointments.

- Assist in preparing official documents

- Maintain office supplies and ensure the workspace remains organized.

- Work collaboratively with office, crematory and groundskeeping staff.

- Handle confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).

- Prior administrative or office experience, preferably in a funeral home, cemetery, or similar setting.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace along with general computer skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in an environment that requires discretion and empathy.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when assisting grieving families.
