Busy food pantry seeks a thoughtful and capable professional to serve as the General Manager. The General Manager will support day to day operations and be part of a team planning for the future to meet the complex needs of those who experience food insecurity.
The General Manager should expect to work up to 35 hours per week. Salary is negotiable and competitive. The ability to work full time hours may be possible as funding becomes available.
Duties
Support day to day operations of food distribution
Supervise staff, volunteers, and partners in the work
Support the ordering of food for distribution and inventory maintenance
Organize efforts to provide training for staff and volunteers
Assist in fundraising efforts to secure donated food and money to cover food, supplies, and other expenses
Other duties as needed

Experience in dealing with food distribution preferred
