Screenprinter/pre-press production/shipping receiving
Berkeley-based high volume, quality screenprint/embroidery business has opening for a full- time position (day shift). While candidates are expected to perform a variety of tasks including pre-press duties, cleaning screens, folding shirts, press operation, etc., this position will be focused on shipping and receiving functions and outgoing orders fulfillment.
The primary responsibilities will include managing incoming and outgoing orders, handling shipping logistics, organizing inventory, and fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Candidates should demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.Candidate needs to work well with a diverse team of employees and interact with customers when needed.
Additional qualifications include ability to read, write and do simple math. Must have a positive attitude, good manual dexterity and visual acuity, and the ability to understand and interpret work orders. Requires standing for 8 hours per day, reaching above shoulder level, and ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Showing up on time every day ready to work is a must. Punctuality and reliability are essential
We are a union shop and offer competitive salary plus excellent benefits. Prior experience with automatic or manual presses, production experience or experience with heat transfer machines a plus. Entry level position also available for those with little or no printing experience but enthusiasm for the work.
