Westfab a established sheet metal and machining manufacturing company has an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Manager who is a motivated, hardworking, career-oriented professional.

We are looking for an Sales Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with new customers. The Sales Manager’s role it to develop new business and actively seek new sales opportunities. Sales management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with new customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and preparing sales reports. Sales Manager will answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among new customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and V.P. Operations.) Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas. Ultimately, a successful Sales Manager should collaborate with our customer service team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run.

Responsibilities

· Serve as the lead point of contact for new customer account management matters

· Build, develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

· Work with management to negotiate pricing and close agreements to maximize continued new opportunities

· Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders

· Develop business with new clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

· Prepare reports on account status, identify new industry trends and provide suggestions.

· Collaborate with the Customer Service and V.P. Operations to identify and grow opportunities.

· Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Skills

· Proven work experience as an Outside Sales Manager in Sheet Metal or Machining Industry or relevant role

· Demonstrable ability to communicate clearly, offer customer hands on industry experiences.

· Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and preferred experience manufacturing ERP.

· Experience delivering client-focused solutions for customer needs or inquiries.

· Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time.

· Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
