Quality Assurance Inspector – Day Shift (San Jose)
Group Manufacturing Services, Inc., is a precision sheet metal, machining and plastics manufacturing operation located in San Jose. We have a diverse customer base that services the Medical, Aerospace and Electronics related industries.
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to become part of our Quality Team.
Desired Experience:
3 to 5 years experience in precision sheet metal manufacturing / quality assurance environment
Computer literate utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel
Familiar with flat pattern validation
Accurately interpret engineering drawings
Competent with GD&T , trigonometry and geometry
Knowledge of or experience with Discus Inspection Software is a plus (can be trained)
Knowledge of or experience with Keyence Inspection System is a plus (can be trained)
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough examination of raw materials, plating, cleaning and heat treating processes
Inspect incoming hardware
Maintain customer quality requirements
Uphold a clean work environment
Maintain ISO quality operating procedures
Perform complex measurements using hand tools
Able to establish required inspection reports - FAI, CDR, VIR
