Electrical Test Technician opening in Pleasanton!

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Electrical Test Technician for our client in Pleasanton! This is a 100% onsite, temp to perm position, working a Monday-Thursday 10 hour shift from 6am-5pm and a starting pay of $28 - $34 an hour based on experience. Quality Assurance Test TechnicianJOB SUMMARY Tests, inspects, or measures internally manufactured materials or procured products to verify compliance with Customer furnished engineering drawings and procedures. Completes associated documentation and reports. Makes entries in the QMS databaseESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Complete continuity testing (point-to-point wiring verification) Verify wiring workmanship (crimps and routing) Functional QC test - Hi Pot Test or Meg Ohm Test Power Wiring - Verify phasing is correct throughout the control panel and that wire sizing is sufficient for available overcurrent protection Perform 100% pull test QC - Torque & Torque Seal Applied Produce reports of inspection/test acceptance or non-conformance and make appropriate computer entries. Use programs in the computerized test machines Prepare materials for test applications Perform mechanical testing of test samples including operation of computerized screw driver test machines. Maintain full documentation of test program through pictures, notes, tables, charts, and computer printouts. Assist other personnel in the test department. Maintain test area, equipment, and test samples in a clean and orderly manner.LANGUAGE SKILLS Able to read and interpret documents such as engineering requirements, safety rules, and quality assurance manual. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to speak effectively.REASONING ABILITY Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form with some assistance.
