Are you a skilled “maker” interested in bringing your manufacturing talents to a small design/build operation? TechniQuip, located in Pleasanton, is growing and has an opening for an exceptional individual to join our team in the role of PRECISION ASSEMBLER, FIBER OPTICS.
On a Daily Basis, This Position Requires:
Assembling fiber optic components with meticulous attention to detail.
Utilizing various tools to assemble and test fiber optic assemblies.
Carefully routing very thin / fragile fibers.
Applying and managing timed curing of epoxies.
Performing lapping and polishing to obtain high-quality optical surfaces.
Cleaning and performing quality control checks.
Periods of standing, sitting, and lifting.
Extensive assembly work at a bench.
Occasionally moving / carrying items 25 lbs. or less.
We Are Seeking Candidates Who:
Have earned a High School diploma or equivalent.
Can pass routine background checks.
Have experience in fiber optics or a related field.

Possess a professional work ethic (timeliness, dependability, willingness to learn, trustworthiness, flexibility, etc.)

Details of This Position:
Full-Time (32-40 hours per week).

Quarterly bonuses based on company performance.
Pleasanton Location – Ideal for candidates looking to avoid long commutes.
Immediate start.
$24.00 to $32.00 base hourly pay. Base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as prior work experience, transferrable skills, and business needs.
The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
