Ultimate Staffing is hiring for Manufacturing Techs I, II, and III for our client in Scotts Valley CA. Target pay range is $20-30/hour depending on experience. If you are interested or know someone that can benefit from these opportunities, please apply!MFG Tech IIRole and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the production manager with direction from the production lead, the technician will be expected assemble a variety of equipment with minimal supervision. Communication with quality assurance of required inspections and issues is expected. Candidate will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the production workspace. Additional duties within the scope of the candidate's abilities and position may be assigned by the production manager. Training is available where needed. Technicians are not working with electricity in the assembly process. Excellent position to develop a technical career.Major tasks include:Understand and configure component installations through utilizing BOM, drawings and schematics.Perform wiring of assemblies with minimal supervision.Communicate effectively issues with documents.Perform in-process inspections.Follow safety and other general housekeeping proceduresMust be able to read and follow written instructions, schematics and diagrams.Basic use of computer.Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 2.5 hours at a time.Locate and verify information in the MRP system.Requirements include:1-2 years of related experienceAbility to read and work from both mechanical and wiring diagrams and written instructionsAbility to learn troubleshooting skills needed in electrical diagrams.Ability to understand and configure component per instructions, drawing and schematics.Good manual dexterityAbility to perform rework of both mechanical and electrical assembliesFamiliarity with the use of various electrical tools such as meters, crimping tools, and mechanical hand toolsGood oral and written communication skills.Must be able to lift/carry up to 25 poundsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard torace, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
