Acara Solutions has a Direct Hire SMT Equipment Maintenance Manager role in Fremont, CA.
Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in the PCB Assembly industry (EMS).
Candidates will be responsible for the facility and SMT Equipment Maintenance to include: repair and preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs to equipment, using manufacturer recommendations. Candidate must be familiar with the Solder paste printer, Juki pick and place machine, reflow oven, and X-ray machine. The salary for this role is $65,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year.
BASIC/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years of experience
Inspect and test finished SMT products for quality
Responsible for facility and SMT Equipment Maintenance and repair
Performs preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs to equipment, using manufacturer recommendations, technical manuals, and industry standards
Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs/re-programs mechanical, pneumatic, electric, and electronic controls of equipment
Performs data entry-related preventive maintenance
Makes reports of materials required to repair and maintain equipment
Examine mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems, identify the source of problems, and determine the method for repair
PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Requires 3+ years of related experience in the PCB Assembly industry (EMS)
Must be familiar with all types of equipment:
PCB Assembly shop:
Solder paste printer
Juki pick and place machine
Reflow oven
X-ray machine
Wave/selective solder
Experience with a Juki Machine
Experience in Aerospace, Medical Devices, Consumer Electronics, Telecom, or RF Applications
ISO 9001, AS 9100, IS0 13485
Communicate effectively verbally and written
Fluent in English and Vietnamese or Korean
