Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and an eye for aesthetics, functionality, and design trends. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision and translating it into innovative design solutions that meet their needs. The Interior Designer will work on various projects, including residential and commercial spaces, ensuring that each design reflects the client's style while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.

- Develop detailed design plans using AutoCAD, Sketchup to create visual representations of proposed designs.

- Select appropriate materials, furnishings, fixtures, and color schemes that align with the overall design concept and LTID Studio aesthetic.

- Prepare presentations for clients, showcasing design concepts and selections.

- Oversee the implementation of designs by coordinating with contractors and vendors throughout the remodeling or building process.

- Conduct site visits to ensure that projects are executed according to design specifications and timelines.

- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions in lighting sales and other aspects of interior design.

- Manage project documentation, including contracts and collaboration sales agreements.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.

- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite.

- Full understanding of construction documentation; schedules, elevations with tagging, floor plans with tagging.

- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and material selection.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

- Experience in remodeling or building projects is mandatory.

- Willingness to learn the company ethos and aesthetic.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- A portfolio showcasing previous design work is required for consideration.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week Monday-Friday

Must have a car and drivers license
