At CD's Art Studio, we are a vibrant, kid-focused art studio where creativity comes to life. As the 9 time Award Winning Art Studio, we provide a fun, inspiring, and supportive environment for children to explore and develop their artistic talents. Our team is dedicated to making every child’s experience memorable, encouraging self-expression, and fostering a love for art.

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Art Studio Assistant to help support our team of instructors and ensure the studio runs smoothly. If you love working with children and have a passion for art, we'd love for you to join us!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with Classes: Support the lead art instructors in managing the classroom during art lessons and workshops. Help guide children through projects, provide hands-on assistance, and offer encouragement.

Prepare Materials: Set up art materials, supplies, and workstations for each class. Ensure everything is well-stocked, organized, and ready for use.

Monitor Studio Environment: Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized studio space. Assist with keeping the studio tidy and ensuring that art materials are properly stored.

Provide Customer Service: Greet and assist parents and children as they arrive, ensuring they have a positive experience. Answer basic questions about the studio and programs.

Support Special Events: Help coordinate and set up for art events, exhibits, and occasional parties or camps held at the studio.

Engage with Children: Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to children, helping them feel comfortable and confident in their artistic abilities.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or creative setting.

A love for art and creativity; no formal art degree required, but a passion for the arts is essential.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with children, parents, and staff in a friendly, professional manner.

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Positive, patient, and approachable attitude.

Prior experience in customer service or administrative work is a plus.

Ability to lift and move art supplies and materials as needed.
