An Associate Attorney will be involved in doing online and office legal and factual research, prepare for closings, hearings, trials and client meetings, draft contracts, prepare and respond to discovery and pleadings, and prepare, document and negotiate settlements and agreements. Knowledge, and/or, for newer attorneys, a willingness to learn the details of legal, courtroom and online proceedings is a must. A desire to focus on business, real estate, trusts, probate and/or family law is preferred. The ideal Associate Attorney would require minimal supervision, possess a solid work ethic, the ability to multi-task, and strong communication skills. The Attorney must be pro-active, able to manage a wide array of responsibilities, communicative, astute, energetic, meticulous, organized and a team player.
This position requires an excellent command of the English language (spoken and written) including a thorough familiarity with MS Office Suite software. Must have a juris doctorate and be admitted or a candidate for admission to the State Bar of California. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
