Join our dynamic 30-person plaintiffs-side civil litigation law firm focused on housing rights, discrimination, and sexual harassment! We are looking for an attorney with three to six years of litigation experience to work in our busy and well-established practice. We represent tenants across the Bay Area and Los Angeles in lawsuits against landlords, developers, and property managers for discrimination, slumlord conditions, and wrongful eviction. We believe in top-notch litigation, social justice for our clients, employee activism, and a healthy work-life balance. We have a flexible work-from-home policy and the attorney can be based out of our SF or Oakland office, with preliminary training in the SF office. Qualifications:

At least 3 years experience in civil litigation

Passion for litigating

Commitment to social justice and equity expansion

Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

Excellent case management and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal skills

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Professional etiquette and ability to speak to judges, mediators, defense counsel, and clients

Experience with the following strongly preferred: motion work (drafting and arguing), mediations (drafting briefs and attending), depositions (taking and defending), and trial prep.

Attorney will be expected to manage their cases from start to finish.
