We are seeking a knowledgeable Immigration Paralegal to assist us with our immigration caseload. In this role, your duties will include preparing Asylum applications (Affirmative and Defensive), and maintaining immigration case data. You will also be required to report to the Lead Paralegal.
To ensure success as an immigration paralegal, you should exhibit experience working under the supervision of a licensed attorney and knowledge of immigration applications. Top-notch immigration paralegals are team players who provide excellent caseload support to immigration attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Clerical skills with an emphasis on case management.
Knowledge of immigration forms, how to fill them out, and how to file them.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases at different stages.
Communication skills to keep both the attorney and client informed of the process.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) to provide seamless communication with clients.
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of immigration case file systems like LawLogix or INSZoom.
Research and translation skills to understand filing requirements of various countries.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
