Position Summary:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and efficient Inventory Specialist to support our daily operations. This position is integral to maintaining our high standards and ensuring smooth workflow. The role is full-time, but we are open to considering part-time candidates. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, confident, and possess a strong work ethic, capable of managing a diverse set of responsibilities with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Receive and document fabric rolls, trims, pillow inserts, hardware, and other materials. Maintain and update detailed logs of all inventory, including fabrics, welt cords, linings, and hardware.
Storage Maintenance: Organize and maintain the finished work storage area. Ensure that all items are properly labeled and stored.
Installation Preparation: Prepare items for daily installations, pack and ship items for out-of-town installations, and manage pickup and delivery as needed.
Proactive Planning: Anticipate supply needs and communicate with the office to ensure timely reordering.
Qualifications:
Positive attitude and strong team spirit.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Drive.
Preferred experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Clean driving record required.
