Part-Time Home Staging Assistant (On-Call & Flexible)

This on-call role is perfect for someone looking for extra work with a flexible schedule. It’s ideal for a student who has 2-3 open days a week, a stay-at-home parent wanting to work while their kids are in school, even if you are simply empty nesting…or anyone looking for a side job with extra hours without the commitment of full-time work.

We are a dynamic home staging company looking for an on-call staging assistant to help. Our team selects furniture, plans the design, pulls & packs accessories, pillows, and artwork, transports them to homes, and creates beautiful, inviting spaces. Once the home sells, we return to pack everything up and bring it back to the warehouse. We stage homes throughout the Bay Area, but our warehouse is located in Pleasanton. A lot of our work is in San Ramon, Dublin, Oakland, Pleasanton, and Walnut Creek, but we travel wherever we are needed.

It’s hands-on work, so anyone interested should enjoy being on their feet, staying busy, and being physically active. We keep it lighthearted with lots of teamwork, humor, and camaraderie. If you’re a busybody who loves being hands-on, enjoys home decor, organizing, and working with a great team, this could be a great fit!

Pay will depend on your skills, speed, ability to stay focused, and how well you follow direction, but at least $20 per hour with has reimburse for extra driving time.

Job Details:

On-call work (only 44-60 days per year, typically between February through October)

Shifts are usually 9 AM - 1 PM, but flexibility is needed on the tail end for occasional delays

Packing, transporting, and staging home accessories

Load and unload cars with accessories

Hanging art, making beds, set up lamps, & arrange accessories

Packing up staged homes once they sell and returning items to the warehouse

Requirements:

must have a Crossover or SUV to transport staging materials

must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs (bins of accessories)

Attention to detail – Ability to place items thoughtfully and ensure a polished, finished look - looking out for things to be fixed, finished or corrected

Self-starter – Takes initiative and stays productive without constant supervision

Ability to stay on task until each job is completed – Focused, efficient, and committed to seeing tasks through

Follow directions well – Works efficiently with the team and follows staging plans carefully
