Salary: $31.57 - $37.65 Per Hour; Range 67; (5 Steps; Maximum reached in 3.5 yrs) Plus 5% Spray Differential
Under general supervision, performs pest control and extermination work on school properties, applies pesticides for the control of insects, plant diseases, weeds and various other pests, performs a variety of grounds and gardening maintenance work; and performs job-related duties as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
2 Letters of Recommendation
Education:
Equivalent to completion of high school with the addition of any combination of formal and informal training, education and experience in the areas of integrated pest management, landscape management and/or horticulture.
Experience:
Two years of commercial/industrial grounds Maintenance/gardening experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES:
Possession of the appropriate QAC (Qualified Applicator’s Certificate) issued by the State of California Department of Pesticide Regulations is a continuous requirement (Must be obtained within 6 months of employment).
