Sisters of Mercy seeks a bilingual (Eng/Spanish) HR Generalist responsible for the day-to-day operation of the HR function in a specified geographical region. Partners with the Directors of Human Resources and Payroll Director in the areas of benefits administration, including health and welfare insurance programs and worker's compensation insurance, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, administration and compliance.
The role is based in Burlingame, CA, and has the option to telecommute two days a week. Excellent benefits.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in a generalist human resources role. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, superb customer service skills and experience with HRIS and automated payroll systems. Candidates will share a commitment to the mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy and have an appreciation of the traditions and culture associated with the Mercy charism.
