Caregiver/Aide/Helper, Part-time, Flexible Days and Hours
We are looking to hire a part time aide/helper for our young son (21 yrs) with special needs.
Compensation
The compensation is based on your experience, compatibility, commitment and interest. It can be expected to be $21-$30/hour plus mileage based on your background. Hours are 9/week.
You are-
This position is ideal for someone who lives close by and needs a part-time position. Previous work assisting teenagers/young adults with special needs is a plus but is not required. Possessing attentiveness, respect, good energy and calmness is sought.
Need to have clean DMV record, own car, non-smoking, ability to take CPR training (or already be trained) and pass background check.
What You’ll Be Doing-
Providing friendship, helping in using media - listening to music, watching TV, playing games on iPad, going for drives and/or walks, engaging in light therapeutic activities, helping with meals (serving, monitoring and cleaning-up), doing light housekeeping, helping with prompts for self-care activities, engaging in daily skills, and being vigilant of safety at all times.
