Looking for a caregiver who is strong, hardworking, and dedicated. I am a quadriplegic, a big man (240 lbs) and need someone physically fit and strong. I am a semi-retired businessman and maintain a daily workout regimen. I am healthy, hardworking, direct and a good communicator.
Shifts:
OVERNIGHT SHIFTS 9:30pm - 7:00am: Dental hygiene, transferring me into bed, cathing and rolling over as needed; light house chores (folding laundry, cleaning of kitchen, living room, make beds, etc.). Caregiver needs to be a light sleeper. I currently need a caregiver for Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights; other caregivers often cover/trade nights (TBD).
Experience preferred, but either way we will train the right candidate!
Responsibilities include: Dental hygiene; dress, transfer to wheelchair/bed, bladder care, assist me with daily living, workouts, house cleaning, chores, etc.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: No criminal record; a background check will be run. Licensed driver who owns a reliable vehicle, a relatively clean DMV record (no DUI/SR22s).
