Starting salary up to $51.86/hour ($108,238/year) and a competitive total compensation package!

Permit Sonoma is responsible for managing and implementing wildfire mitigation grant projects. They are currently recruiting to fill a time-limited Fire Prevention Grant Analyst role that is currently funded through May 03, 2025. Serving as their Fire Prevention Divisions' expert resource, the Fire Prevention Grant Analyst will be responsible for recommending and implementing solutions to complex fiscal operations, budgetary, and contract management problems. The Fire Prevention Grant Analyst administers grants and conducts research and analysis to support the Fire Prevention program in Permit Sonoma. Additional duties include:

Presenting meetings about the program to partners, oversight agencies, and the public

Developing processes and procedures for implementing project assessments, and property owner rebate applications

Coordinating public outreach strategies and ensuring program information is delivered accurately and timely to the public

Understanding and ensuring compliance with federal grant requirements

Facilitating the development of a funded rebate program for property owners

The ideal Fire Prevention Grant Analyst brings and will possess:

Strong background in grant management

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving

The ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment

A high level of integrity, a positive attitude, and a great sense of humor

Bring passion and curiosity for fire prevention grants

English/Spanish bilingual skills are desirable, but not required to be considered for this position
