The Department Analyst is a vital member of the Department of Child Support Services. This position will work closely with the Fiscal and Administration Manager. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This role operates independently, with minimal direction. Additional responsibilities include:
Overseeing payroll
Assisting with department's purchasing functions and administering contracts
Managing the departments safety program, building safety, and tracking reportable injuries to central HR
Providing HR support with recruitments, promotions, disability/leave management, performance evaluations, employee relations, trainings, progressive discipline, and exit interviews
Preparing a variety of financial reports, and coordinating demographic and survey data
Assisting with staff salary, benefit budget development and track expenditures
As the ideal candidate you will possess the following:
Proven experience in Human Resources functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and financial software systems
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage complex and diverse tasks, and projects, with completing priorities and deadlines
Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups and individuals
Comfortable with public speaking and working collaboratively with all levels of staff
A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
