Hello friends! Wesley from Woo Can Cook here. A little about us, I (Wesley) have been running pop-ups around Oakland for the last five years serving wok fried rice and Taiwanese small bites. Right now, we're getting ready to retire the tent, and open a kitchen space inside the Prescott Market food hall later this month. As our space and menu grows, we're also working on growing our team for our new kitchen space too, and find folks to join the team that has been running pop-ups with me for the last half decade.
Right now we're looking to fill a weekend line cook shift from 12:30-5:30PM, Friday-Sundays on the wok. $24/hour plus tips, doing pretty straight forward wok cooking, primarily various fried rice and fried noodle dishes. Wok cooking experience would be a plus, but not a requirement. Mainly just looking for someone comfortable working on the hotline, and learning to cook in a house style.
In addition, we are also offering a prep day shift on Wednesdays 11-4PM, doing pretty standard prep tasks (washing/cooking rice, baking proteins, chopping veggies, and etc).
