Timeless Coffee & Bakery – Weekend Delivery Driver & Utility Support
Location: 4252 Piedmont Ave, Oakland, CA 94611
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 5am - 9am (8 hours/week)
Compensation: $20/hour
We’re hiring a reliable and detail-oriented weekend delivery driver and utility support team member to help keep things running smoothly across our bakery, roastery, and retail operations. You’ll be delivering fresh baked goods and roasted coffee, running supply errands, supporting general cleaning tasks, and assisting with back-of-house organization.
You’ll be representing Timeless out in the world, so professionalism, good communication, and a steady hand behind the wheel are key. This is a physical job that combines driving, cleaning, and light kitchen support—and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing it all well.
Responsibilities include:
-Safely operate a Ford Transit van to deliver baked goods, cakes, and roasted coffee to Timeless locations and wholesale partners
-Pick up green coffee beans and supplies from local vendors as needed
-Perform supply runs to Chef’s Store, East Bay Restaurant Supply, and others
-Handle pickup and drop-off of nitrogen tanks (as needed on non-weekend days)
-Keep the delivery van clean, fueled, and organized
-Help with waste sorting and removal, dishwashing, and general kitchen cleaning
-Restock ingredients, build bakery boxes, and sanitize workspaces
-Assist with basic food prep tasks when needed
-Use company credit cards responsibly for rare weekend purchases and file receipts appropriately
-Communicate with bakery and roasting staff to stay in sync with delivery and production timelines
-Lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely
-Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols
What we’re looking for:
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
-Experience with commercial vehicles like a Ford Transit preferred
-Reliable, communicative, and comfortable working independently
-Great time management and multitasking ability
-Basic understanding of vehicle upkeep and willingness to schedule maintenance
-Valid California food handler’s certificate (or willingness to obtain within 7 days of hire)
-Completion of California’s required sexual harassment prevention training within 7 days of hire
-Ability to follow a digital schedule and company communication tools
-Non-slip closed-toe shoes and hair covering required during shifts
