IF you're looking for a FUN and DIFFERENT part-time chef gig making GOOD MONEY, THIS IS FOR YOU! This is perfect for someone with a full time job or only wanting to gig and make extra money. Premier niche catering company established since 2010 in the Fremont area looking for on-site event chefs. We're busy and need more chefs for our events.

We have two openings to fill:

Weekday/weeknight event chef

Weekend event chef

Work as often or as little as you want. This is PERFECT if you already have a steady kitchen job, and you want to make GOOD EXTRA MONEY on your days off, or just like gigging full-time. We are BUSY and need event chefs in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings during the week and weekends. This is a part-time position. Please DO NOT apply if you DO NOT HAVE REAL COOKING EXPERIENCE IN A REAL PROFESSIONAL KITCHEN. This is not for someone in a different field (like construction worker, plumber, truck driver, retail sales, customer service) that always thought it would be fun to cook and wants to make a career change. This is a REAL job, not a hobby. You must have REAL COOKING EXPERIENCE IN A REAL PROFESSIONAL KITCHEN.

You will be cooking in front of guests at our private events. You must be comfortable in a social setting cooking in front of guests, friendly and charismatic, and interacting with them as they watch you cook our delicious food.

Please do NOT reply if you do NOT have at least some professional CHEF experience.

YOU MUST: speak English, be RELIABLE, be able to lift 50#, have basic cooking skills, be able to MULTI-TASK, work FAST and INDEPENDENTLY, have your own vehicle and a VAILD driver license, be comfortable driving our vans and trucks to events and back.

Up to $45/hr + gratuity + year end performance bonus + meals.

Events, including drive time to the event, can be anywhere from 6-12+ hours.

Start times could be as early as 6/7 AM, and returning from events possibly 12/1 AM.

GUARANTEED MINIMUM 8 hours paid regardless of hours worked.

FULL training provided. Starting pay during training $20 hr.

Our events are ALL OVER the Bay Area and NorCal. Mostly in the immediate Bay Area, but also from Big Sur to Santa Rosa. You must have a VALID driver license and okay with driving our van to events. On event days you will come to our kitchen, pick up our van already loaded for you with equipment and food, drive to the event, unload, set up and cook, stay for a bit, break down and return to the kitchen.
