We are a well-established North Beach/Telegraph Hill restaurant seeking a talented Executive Chef to lead our BOH team. This role involves managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and fostering a positive work environment while working closely with the General Manager and managing partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead kitchen operations, ensuring quality, creativity, and consistency in all dishes.
Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a high level of culinary expertise.
Oversee daily kitchen workflow, including scheduling, service quality, and budget adherence.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate on menu development, private events, and special functions.
Monitor kitchen expenses and maintain a balanced P&L.
Foster team development and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of kitchen management experience required.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Expertise in pasta, pizza, and California cuisines preferred.

SF Food Handler’s Certification required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary Range: $95,000 - $100,000 per year
Medical insurance offered after a 90-day period
