What we're looking for in a sous chef:
First and foremost is someone who is wanting to work closely and creatively with the executive chef.
Enthusiasm to respectfully lead, inspire, coach and manage a large team of individuals
A relentless pursuit of consistency, quality, order, and cleanliness
Work with incredible ingredients grown at our own farm
good communication across the board with your team, the FOH and upper management.
a self-motivated person who is always looking for ways to improve, and is open to direction
the ability to expedite a busy service is a MUST
when necessary, execute daily menu changes/updates and perform pre-shift line-ups with the entire team.
the ability to communicate in both english and spanish is a plus, but not necessary
Job requires the following but is not limited to:
Continuous physical activity including walking, standing, twisting, sitting, bending, lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling, wiping, climbing, pushing and pulling items weighing 50 pounds for distances of up to 20 ft
