Hi Neighbor Hospitality (The Vault Steakhouse, The Vault Garden, Trestle, Mama Oakland, The Madrigal, Jack and Remi Ice Cream) has partnered with Michelin Starred Chefs, David and Serena Fisher, to open a new neighborhood restaurant off Fillmore, 7 Adams. 7 Adams, helmed by husband-and-wife chef duo David Fisher and Serena Chow Fisher, is the latest concept from the Hi Neighbor Hospitality Group. It offers a culinary journey that transforms the familiar into uniquely crafted and gorgeously presented dishes. A deeply personal project, the restaurant honors the spaces where David’s desire to cook first took hold, its name referencing his childhood home in Upstate New York. David's cooking style is characterized by simplicity, precise execution, elegant plating, and an element of surprise achieved through unexpected textures and hidden elements. The local product that initially drew David to San Francisco has remained a cornerstone of his culinary approach, first at Marlena, the Michelin-starred restaurant that he and Serena opened in 2020, and now at 7 Adams, opening in 2023. Drawing on local produce and capturing nuanced seasonal moments, 7 Adams also celebrates Serena’s roots in Northern California.

We are currently seeking a Maitre D’/Service Manager. This individual will manage the dining room and floor operations, greet guests and ensure the highest possible standards of service. Their focus should be on setting the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant and acting as a liason between the kitchen, the dining room and the General Manager. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Create a positive work environment for our employees through friendly, caring and professional communication

Effectively deliver outstanding service and guest experience

Maintain an extensive knowledge of our restaurant's food offerings and beverage program

Reinforce company standards, including uniform, grooming and timeliness of employees

Perform opening/closing and side work manager duties for any shift when General Manager is not on duty, including menus, floor plan and staff lineup

Be available to fill in any role as needed to ensure a smooth and an efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Resy, and Square

Requirements for this job are prior leadership experience and the full knowledge and capability of participating in all aspects of the front-of-house (host, server, food runner, busser). A strong food and beverage knowledge, especially wine, as well as fine dining experience is also preferred. Must be able to stand on feet for extensive period and lift up to 50lbs.
