Montesacro Pinseria, the pioneer of Roman-style Pinsa in the U.S., is seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead our team. Located in the heart of San Francisco’s SoMa district, we offer a cozy and vibrant atmosphere, serving Roman Pinsa, gourmet Italian dishes and curated selection of wines. Job Summary:
As our General Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guests experience, and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a passionate team that embodies our family-first approach to service
Maintain the highest standards of hospitality while managing daily operations
Oversee inventory, cost controls, and financial performance
Oversee and direct beverage program – ordering, organization, controlling wine and spirit selection, as well as staff education.
Cultivate relationships with guests and become a familiar face in our community
Partner with our chef to ensure our carefully selected ingredients and authentic preparations meet our standards.
Drive recruitment, training, and team development initiatives
Qualifications:
3+ years of upper-level management in hospitality
Open availability is a must.
Strong understanding of Italian cuisine and hospitality culture
Proven track record of financial management and P&L responsibility
Experience in staff development and training
Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to make guests feel welcome
ServSafe certification and knowledge of SF health department regulations
Strong understanding and knowledge of wine and spirits.
