Manager of Catering Operations

Eisenhauer's Catering and Events currently has an exciting opportunity for a full time Manager of Catering Operations.

Job duties consist of:

-Planning and communicating daily catering orders and events between sales team and kitchen staff.

-Leading the daily execution of all logistical responsibilities associated with food and service production.

-Must have a good/clean driving record. Must be comfortable driving catering vans, and have a flexible weekly schedule consisting of weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

PRIORITIES

Communicate via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings

Schedule deliveries and drivers for all orders and events

Driving/delivering daily food orders to local companies, setting up food items for casual and upscale displays, afternoon pick-ups of company equipment, general assistance food production.

Provide accurate daily reports in a timely and efficient manner.

Lead server and/or captain at off-premise events.

Assist with projects as needed. Event training and monthly team training.

Additional responsibilities as needed towards the success of the overall company and team participation.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Experience in catering logistics, rental handling, setup, inventory, managing and instructing event personnel, strategic event troubleshooting, working in a cross-functional team environment.

Must be available to work weekdays, weekends and evenings

4 to 6 years of hospitality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in fine dining and off-premise catering.

ServeSafe certification will be a requirement within the first 90-days.
