Salary Range: ($72,000-$90,000) plus bonus potential

Job Description:

Reporting to the Owner/Management Company, the General Manager will play a "critical role" in leading a differentiated and consistent guest experience at our hotel by specifically focusing on providing guests with the best arrival/departure and stay experience.

The General Manager serves as the "heart of the hotel," driving the execution of the hotel's Service Culture. You will work closely and collaboratively with Department Managers and Ownership/Management Company to ensure that everyone is accountable, focused, motivated and engaged in Guest Service.

The General Manager will be an "integral part" of procurement, scheduling, accounting, payroll, rate and inventory control, team leadership, community relations, franchise relations cost controls and leading the sales effort for the hotel. In addition, the staffs from housekeeping, breakfast as well as front desk and maintenance will be monitored and developed by the General Manager. Customer service is goal number one, to that end you will Champion Service Recovery and address issues that may arise and take on the spot action regarding guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 3-5 years of hospitality management experience. Strong problem resolution skills & negotiation skills; exceptional ability to communicate openly and persuasively while asking questions and actively listening to understand the concerns of others; builds consensus; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while providing a high level of guest satisfaction is critical. Experience with and knowledge of Nationally Recognized Brand Standards is extremely desirable.

Previous experience as a Franchise GM/AGM will be weighed heavily. Working knowledge of Visual Matrix, BestRev and Microsoft Suites is much preferred. Relocation is negotiable. Salary based on experience and this is a bonus eligible position.
