Company Description: Frankie's is the oldest open eatery on the embarcadero, located in San Francisco’s Pier 40. We are known for our exceptional service, creative cocktails, and lively atmosphere. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic bartender to join our team. We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented bartender to join our team and contribute to our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities include:
Mixing and Serving Drinks: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the beverage menu, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, and be able to make recommendations to guests.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and ingredients.
Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
Compliance: Adhere to all legal and company policies regarding alcohol service, including checking identification and refusing service to intoxicated guests.
Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Problem Solving: Handle any customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
Hours of Operation:
Wednesday – Sunday 9:00am to 10:00pm
Daily happy hour 3:00pm to 6:00pm
ALWAYS open for SF Giants home games.
Requirements:
Previous bartending experience in a high-volume establishment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits.
Toast POS experience preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
