Marica Restaurant is hiring for a Sous Chef work dinner shifts (only) 2:00pm - Closing, 5-6 Days a Week. Sous chef will be assisting our chef in a small but very busy restaurant. Desired candidates are passionate about food, detail oriented, and are able to cook comfortably at different stations.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably in a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Daily prep and set up
- Assisting the Chef with daily specials and desserts
- Working closely with the Chef on the line during service
- Manage inventory
- Assist Chef with kitchen cleanup
Salary to be determined based on experience.
