Run your own small business on a SF Bay area sportfishing boat!
A sportfishing operation out of Berkeley is looking for a full time galley cook/chef to run their own business on their boats up to 7 days a week from April-Dec. Galley is RENT FREE and equipped with a convection oven, flat top grill, side by side cooler, beverage coolers and freezer for storage.
You'll keep 100% of income from daily sales, catering packages, and gratuities. We supply the customers.
Create your own menu, and provide your own supplies (food, drinks, paper goods).
Desired Skills/Abilities:
-Ability to plan and prepare a creative and consistent menu of items easily eaten on the water.
-Outgoing and friendly demeanor. Must be able to engage and communicate easily with passengers and crew. The galley is often the heart of a vessel. Chef should strive to create a galley atmosphere that contributes positively towards morale.
-Hardworking and reliable. Boat hours are 5am to 3-4pm up to 7 days a week during the fishing season.
-Self-guided, organized, and motivated, yet team-spirited and able to work in close quarters.
-Neat, clean and drug free is a must!
