About Meadow Club
Meadow Club was the first course in North America designed by Alister MacKenzie and Robert Hunter and opened in 1927. The course has since been restored by Mike DeVries, who has recaptured many of the features from the original design. Work continues towards improving playing conditions with reduced water use, a tree management program, and fairway topdressing program. Annually we host the Alister MacKenzie Collegiate Invitational hosted by the University of California Men’s team and the Juli Inkster Invitational hosted by the Women’s teams of San Jose State and University of San Francisco. We are working on a number of projects that will highlight the course as we close in on our 100th anniversary. Come be a part of our team and help us in our celebration.
