Compensation: $100-$130k annual salary + benefits
Schedule: This is primarily a Monday-Friday position, with very early start times (12 am-4 am). Some work at events on weekends is required.
Location: Onsite at our facility in Oakland, and on location at local event sites.

We source seasonal ingredients and work with professional and service-oriented staff to create simple, rustic, and elegant presentations.
About the Position:
The Executive Chef is responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, providing professional leadership and direction to the BOH team. This position ensures that all recipes, food preparation, and presentations meet Salt and Honey’s specifications and commitment to quality while maintaining a safe and sanitized kitchen.
What You’ll Need:
Five + years of kitchen management experience
Skilled at following recipes and creating dishes that surpass clients’ expectations.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (speak, write, read)
SERV Safe Manager Certification with excellent knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to drive company vehicles
Reliable transportation and ability to start your shift between 12 am – 4 am
Ability to lead your team by example and support their professional development
Preferred Experience:
Catering experience is a big plus, but not required
