Welcome to Mangia Nosh Catering company! We are a full-service catering company that has been serving the Bay Area for over 35 years. Our company is located in Novato, California and we work all throughout the entire Bay Area. We cater to weddings, large galas, birthday parties, baby showers, dinner parties, graduation parties, celebration of life events, bat mitzvah celebrations, holiday parties and much, much more. Our clientele expects delicious food, gorgeous presentation, and a seamless experience.

We are looking to hire

Skilled PREP COOKS as well as EVENT CATERING CHEFS to join our existing team. Catering experience preferred but not required. We are looking for individuals with a passion for food, different cooking techniques and gorgeous presentation.

PREP COOKS

In our prep kitchen, you will be assisting our executive chef with food preparation for Catering Events. We prepare for many events simultaneously. Good organizational skills and timing are necessary. Good knife skills are a must. Depending on your experience, you may be asked to platter/plate up final dishes for Events.

EVENT CATERING CHEFS:

In addition to helping prep in our kitchen, we are looking for event chefs. You are not obligated to accept work if you are not available. We need individuals with small event and large events experience. This Chef will be responsible for presenting our clients with the best catering experience, producing and presenting exceptional cuisine. As well as communicating and working with Front of House Staff.

Requirements:

-Current California food handler’s card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law

-Previous experience in a restaurant or food service operation preferred

-Provide current California ID or Driver's License

-Physical ability to stand and work in fast paced environment for an entire shift and lift up to 75 pounds

-Willingness to work weekends, mornings or nights.

-Strong teamwork and communication skills

-Existing knowledge of food safety procedures necessary

-Must be able to communicate effectively

Eventually, we are looking for someone who would be a good fit as our Sous-chef.
