Chambers Landing Bar & Grill is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen by washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Responsibilities
- Wash Dishes: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils by hand or using dishwashing equipment, ensuring that all items are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized properly.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized at all times, including washing sinks, counters, and floors, and emptying trash bins as needed.
- Assist Kitchen Staff: Support kitchen staff by removing garbage and recycling from kitchen areas, and assisting with general cleaning tasks as needed to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Stock Supplies: Ensure that dishwashing supplies, such as soap, detergent, and sanitizer, are stocked and readily available for use, and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling chemicals safely and responsibly.

- Attention to Detail: Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail, ensuring that dishes and utensils are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized properly.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects, as well as bend, stoop, and reach to perform various tasks in the dishwashing area.
- Teamwork: Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen during service.
- Dependability: Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to fulfilling job responsibilities to the best of your ability.
