Twelve Top Catering is seeking a friendly and helpful food delivery driver to support our corporate clients.
Objectives in this role:
Manage multiple orders, delivery locations, and customers at the same time
Deliver orders on time
Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions
Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS
Communicate clearly with customers and food service employees, demonstrating an eagerness to work through any issues or points of confusion
Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery log
Provide excellent customer service and build customer loyalty by delivering food in a timely, cordial manner
Ensure orders are delivered accurately and in good condition
Communicate any issues or delays and resolve problems efficiently
Represent the company with excellence and professionalism by driving safely, exercising good judgment, and treating customers with respect
Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year experience as delivery driver; Minimum 3 years experience in Customer Service
· Must have valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record
· Positive attitude
· Sense of urgency
· Attention to detail
Delivery Driver will work directly under Company Chefs in all aspects of catering production and adhere to the standards and quality set by the kitchen team.
If you would like more hours outside of deliveries, there is an option to help the kitchen during afternoon production.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Help accepting, checking, and organizing deliveries from various purveyors
· Assist in keeping walk-in and dry storage organized
· Process ingredients efficiently while maintaining a clean working environment
· Follow all food safety standards and best practices protocols
· Ability to follow prep lists and take direction
· Showing up on time and ready to work – consistency and reliability expected
· Work in a fast-paced environment
· Help clean and wash some dishes throughout the day
· Lift up to 50lbs
· Work on your feet all day
Details
· $22.00 per hour.
· 35-40 hours per week
· Monday through Friday, 5 days a week
· Location: Oakland
· Sick pay accrued based on hours worked, over time, each year
· Company breaks (unpaid) each year:
o December 21st through January 5th
o Week of July 4th
o Thanksgiving weekend (Thursday – Sunday)
o Labor Day Weekend
· Performance reviews every 6 months
o Milestones set and reached
o Compensation and/or advancement schedule
