Cafe/Catering Assistant Manager
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cafe/Catering Manager located in Fremont, CA. The Manager will be the primary bridge with the Front and Back of House teams, and communicate with clients for catering events. This role includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and service, staff training and management, inventory management, and maintaining high standards in cleanliness and safety. The Manager will also handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure the restaurant meets all regulatory requirements. Manager should have experience with quick service restaurants and a variety of cuisines. Kitchen experience is a plus. Must be able to communicate in Vietnamese and English.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a professional kitchen, including 3 years of management experience
-Experience with high volume, quick service restaurants
-Experience with catering
-A firm understanding of kitchen sanitation practices and health department standards
-Strong organizational and time management skills, along with attention to detail
-Experience with inventory control
-Experience with employee management, including scheduling, break/rest periods
-Front of House experience
-Kitchen Management experience
