Timber & Salt is a successful upscale restaurant and bar in Redwood City featuring premium steaks, California cuisine, craft cocktails, beer and wine. We have evening shifts available for motivated Servers and/or Bartenders who want to make their mark on the Bay Area dining and cocktail scene. Server Requirements:
- We prefer at least 2 years FOH restaurant experience, but will train motivated candidates
- Our ideal candidate has both serving and bartending experience
- Positive attitude and desire to provide quality service to all customers at all times
- Ability to work with a team
- Knowledge of food, classic cocktails and beer/wine is a plus
- Love of food and drink
- P.O.S. experience preferred, but will train
- Available nights, weekends, and holidays
Bartender Requirements:
Your responsibilities will include providing friendly and attentive service and guiding guests to appropriate food and beverage selections. Mix and pour cocktails with speed and consistency in a high-volume environment. Work with the bar team to develop cocktails and expand our section of beer and wine. Assist in bar set-up and ingredient production (syrups, bitters, infusions) and maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
- Classic cocktail and detailed spirits knowledge is required
- Our ideal candidate has both serving and bartending experience
- At least 2 years bar experience
- Love of food and drink
- P.O.S. experience
- Ability to work with a team
- Available nights, weekends, and holidays
