Position Type:
Seasonal/Part-Time, Friday-Sunday 12:00-7:30 through January 12, 2025 with potential to extend at the end of the season.
Additional shifts include Tuesday 12/24, Tuesday 12/31 and Wednesday 1/1
Job Summary:
The Seasonal Busser/Runner will assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dining environment. This role involves a range of duties, including running plates to tables, clearing and setting tables, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen and front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running Plates: Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly as needed.
- Table Maintenance: Clear, set, and clean tables efficiently to prepare for new guests.
- Cleanliness: Uphold organization and general upkeep of cleanliness in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
- Guest Seating: Assist with seating guests and managing reservations to ensure a smooth flow of patrons.
- Dishware Polishing: Cleaning & polishing dishware, flatware, and glassware.
- Retail Packaging: Accurately package retail orders when required.
- Wine Fridge: Restock and organize the wine fridge to ensure availability and proper inventory.
- Trash and Recycling: Take out recycling and trash regularly to maintain a clean environment.

- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with customers, servers, kitchen staff, and managers.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate delivery of food orders and proper presentation.

- Accuracy and Thoroughness: Properly and thoroughly clean tables and store dishes.
- Physical Ability: Capability to carry heavy trays and stand for long periods.
- Food Safety: Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Interact effectively with customers while traveling to and from tables.
- Table Setting: Maintain table settings by removing courses and replenishing utensils as needed.
Other Requirements
- At least 1 year of food service experience. Experience in a fine dining environment is a plus
- Must have an active CA Foodhandlers Certification.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be able to work standing on your feet for at least 8 hours per day
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
