Busy SF family in Forest Hill seeking primarily full-time household management with some child-related help (inclusive of school drop offs / pick ups).
Schedule: Family will guarantee 40 hours per week, expected to primarily be during typical weekday working hours, but interested in candidates who can build and manage their own schedules to meet the objectives of the household (in collaboration with the family).
Children: Two girls, 5 and 8 years old
Household Duties: Household project management (including managing vendors and renovation projects), household organization (creating the system with the family and keeping the house running in an organized way), household inventory management and online ordering (supplies and groceries), managing family calendar and related computer work. Very interested in candidates who also have experience and willingness to plan and ideally prep meals for the adults (or entire family).
Children-related Duties: Occasionally driving children to/from schools (and/or between other activities), occasional childcare (in a pinch), children’s event planning, purchasing children’s items, managing calendars and schedules. Extra helpful would be the flexibility / capability to prepare / cook kid’s meals, occasionally help with homework help, wash children’s laundry (if needed).
Requirements: Ideal candidate is very organized and is a systems thinker; has strong communication skills (both written and verbal); is adept at Google workspace, emails, calendars, and other online project/task management tools; excellent with details, including identifying potential questions or problems in advance and proposing potential solutions or (in certain areas) proactively solving them; requires minimal oversight and is proactive about soliciting necessary input and/or managing engagement with the family to keep on top of planning and objectives. Must be energetic, kind, and have an upbeat personality. Driver with access to a car for use on the job for errands required. Car available for driving children.
Salary: $40-$50 per hour; plus guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year, six paid holidays, two weeks paid vacation and three to five paid sick days.
