Well established North Bay Electrical Contractor seeking a PM Assistant to support Project Managers with the daily operations of the projects. The right candidate should be extremely organized, independent, pay attention to detail, work well under pressure and be ready and willing to jump in the mix and take control of what needs to be done.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Set up and maintain project filing system
Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs
Assist in management of project documentation and ensure proper approvals/signatures and maintain document logs
Log, track and maintain copies of submittals, RFI’s, change orders, emails, correspondence, material packing slips
Request USA’s and coordinate with Filed as to the status of the USA ticket; Maintain USA logs
Compile contract close out documents (O & M manuals, warranties, as-builts, etc.)
Maintain bid calendar, download/print plans & specs, prepare bid documents, research projects
Complete other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Able to perform all essential duties with minimal supervision
Proficiency in MS Office environment, including Word, Excel, Outlook, One Note
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to adapt easily and accept changing situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Ability to take direction from and support multiple people
EXPERIENCE A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Experience using eSUB project management software
Prior experience working in a similar position for a construction company
Knowledge of electrical
