HVAC CAD / Drafter / Engineer - Design Heating & Air Conditioning

DHAC is growing again and is seeking to recruit a long-term team member in the engineering/CAD department. This individual will need to be able to work independently and have the ability to coordinate with the design team & other professional trades. The individual will also be responsible for preparing submittals, complete California T-24 forms, & occasionally perform field surveys.

Previous drafting experience required. Be prepared to show examples of previous work.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drafting:

Create construction drawings using AutoCAD software.

Creating submittal packages.

Verify take-off changes from the field.

Update plans as requested.

Assist in submitting plans and correcting redlines.

Ensure compliance with city and county codes.

Obtain required city permits.

Collaborate with team members to solve various project challenges.

Other duties as assigned.

Great communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong, positive personality supporting the project team.

Previous experience & proficiency in drafting

Deadline and detail oriented

Experience with Windows OS, Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel

Must be able to pass background / DMV-Record check & drug test as needed
