Commercial doors, frames and hardware supplier located in the North Bay/Santa Rosa area is looking for an estimator to join our team.
Job Summary: Our estimators manage bid takeoffs and proposal preparations, and oversee the awarded project through completion.
This is a full time office based position. We offer competitive compensation and a benefits package.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Interpret specifications and plans
Do takeoffs, prepare estimates, issue job proposals
Job management including: material purchasing, scheduling and monitoring timelines
Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe.
Knowledge of estimating software a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently.
